AKEA at AMB Stuttgart 2026: a new rolling head from LMT Fette

Rasmus Balle and Kasper Bilstrup spent a day on the floor at AMB Stuttgart. The highlight was a new axial rolling head in the EVOLine range.

AMB Stuttgart ran from 15 to 19 September, and AKEA went as visitors, not exhibitors. CEO Rasmus Balle and CSO Kasper Bilstrup spent Thursday 17 September on the floor.

AMB is hall after hall of machines that each do one operation very well. What interests us is the sequence: a saw, a rolling head and a robot lined up so that raw bar goes in at one end and a finished part comes out at the other. That is what we build.

The best conversation of the day took place at the LMT Fette stand. The new F65 EVO axial rolling head sat on the Thread Rolling stand under a gold NEW badge, next to a rolled wind turbine stud bolt, M42 x 4.5. The head forms the thread. Our machines do everything around it, which keeps a head like this running instead of waiting.
